THROUGH the letters page could I appeal for a clean up of the M53 mid Wirral Motorway.

I drove last week along this motorway from Eastham to New Brighton and along the whole length it was litter strewn.

"Not a good vision for visitors to the Wirral I’m afraid .."

Wirral Borough Council and volunteers keep our country parks and Wirral Way generally litter free but the Highways Agency has let Wirral down here on keeping the M53 tidy.

I know it is a minority of motorists who do this littering and sadly don’t care for our environment and polluting our planet, but would appreciate some help here through your letters page.
