NESTON boosted their chances of beating the drop from the Cheshire County Premier League with a 79 run win over Widnes. 

The hosts made 202-9 before Ashley Davis took 5-39 to seal the victory.

Oxton won a thriller against Bowdon after the visitors were dismissed for 220 with Jordan Collier (3-33) the pick of the bowlers. Oxton were nine wickets down when they reached the target with Dane Williams' 71 the highlight. 

In Division Two, Simon Melberzs (85no) and Ben Nuttall (63) led Port Sunlight to an eight wicket win at Ashley as they chased down the host's 252 all out. Chris Newton took 4-50 for the leaders.

Maritime are second after beating Haslington by five wickets. Gavasker Kanthiraj took 3-28 as the home side were bowled out for 180. 

Upton lead Division Three after yet another Chris McArthur century saw them beat Barrow by 138 runs. The Australian batter's 133 helped the hosts reach 309-7 before the bowlers wrapped up the win.
