TRANMERE Rovers have confirmed the signing of defender Zak Bradshaw on a season-long loan from Lincoln City.

The 20-year-old, who played his youth football for Ipswich Town, provides another option across the back line for Nigel Adkins as he bolsters his squad for the 2024/25 campaign.

The left-footed defender spent last season on loan at Dundalk, and has made 62 senior appearances to date.

Rovers manager Nigel Adkins said: “We are pleased to welcome the versatile defender Zak Bradshaw to our squad at Tranmere Rovers.

"Whilst on loan from Lincoln City we are looking forward to working with him over the coming season."

Bradshaw added: "Since I heard there was interest from the club, it was a no-brainer for me. I want to go to a side fighting at the top and the manager has made it clear that that's the goal this season.

"Nigel knows what a good footballer looks like and what it takes to get to the highest level which is ultimately were I want to go, so there is no better person to learn from.

"The fans are the reason we play football so we want to give them something to cheer about."
