WALLASEY sit fourth in the Liverpool Competition Premier League after a 30 run win over third place Rainford.
Sumit Ruikar (71no) top scored as the hosts declared on 194-7 before the Indian all-rounder showed his worth with the ball, taking 5-76 as Rainford were dismissed for 164. Sohail Asilzada took 3-34.
New Brighton remain bottom after falling to another heavy defeat. Damitha Silva took 4-75 as Newton le Willows posted 202-5 before the Rakers were all out for 95.
Birkenhead Park are one place above New Brighton following a narrow home defeat to Formby. The visitors were all out for 161 with Malinda Pushpakumara taking 6-42 but Park's reply fell 12 runs short of the target.
Parkfield Liscard continued their climb up Division Two after a five wicket win at Whitefield. Jehan Yahathugoda took 7-24 as the hosts were bowled out for 98 with the visitors completing the win in the 26th over.
Caldy's Umega Chaturanga claimed 6-23 with Asiri Gamage also taking 3-9 as Norley Hall were dismissed for 64. Caldy lost seven wickets in sealing the win.
