ASHVILLE FC have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Jack Reynolds.

Reynolds joins the club after a stand out spell at Litherland Remyca where the 22-year-old won the NWCFL Premier Division Goalkeeper Of The Month Award in March 2023.

The young gloveman joins Ashville despite many offers from NWCFL Premier Division sides and beyond, stating that the clubs ambition is what brought him to Ray Parker Stadium.

Reynolds said: “Ashville is definitely a place where I can enjoy my football and a big bonus is it’s a club with huge ambition.

"The winning mentality of Ste (Scott) and Glynn (Hurst) made Ashville a really attractive proposition for me and really made up my mind that this is where I want to be”.

The talented shot stopper has come in for major praise from his new boss.

Scott said:  “We’re really pleased to bring Jack into the club. He’s got proven quality and the fact he’s an ambitious lad who’s chosen to come here, despite really good opportunities elsewhere, shows our intentions and we’re delighted to have him at Ashville”.

Fans will get their first opportunity to see Reynolds in action on Wednesday night when Villa welcome Maghull to Ray Parker Stadium in their final pre-season friendly.

Reynolds added: “I’m looking forward to seeing you all at the ground and playing in front of the Villa faithful for the first time. One last dress rehearsal and then let’s get some points on the board on Saturday”.
