LUKE Filer hit a century for Oxton in their Cheshire County Premier League game at Timperley but the visitors were unable to force the win.
Filer's 119 and Henry Dobson's 73 helped Oxton post 283-8 but in an exciting clash the hosts closed on 270-8 in a drawn game with Chris Stenhouse taking 4-57.
Neston lost a thriller at home to Alderley Edge after they reached 170-9. The visitors sneaked home for a one wicket win despite Shahrukh Khan's 4-56.
A big game in Division Two saw second place Port Sunlight lose to leaders Cheadle Hulme by seven wickets after Port had made 219-8.
Vishal Barigela (4-31) and Gavasker Kanthiraj (3-13) helped Maritime bowl out Congleton for 134 but Maritime's reply fell 22 runs short.
Upton are top of Division Three after half-centuries from Tom Marsland (67) and Matt Owen (62) helped them reach 238-7 against Tattenhall who replied with 128 all out. Joe Williams (3-26) and Phil McGowan (3-24) got the wickets.
