TRANMERE Rovers have confirmed the signing of forward Sol Solomon on a one-year contract.
The 23-year-old joins following his departure from Marine, who he helped win promotion to the National League North last year, scoring 24 goals across the season.
Solomon left Jersey Bulls in 2022 as their record goal scorer, scoring 60 goals in 71 games in the Combined Counties Football League.
Solomon will join up with his teammates this week for the squad’s first full week of pre-season after they returned to The Campus for testing last Thursday.
Rovers manager Nigel Adkins said: “Sol joins us from non-league Marine. We believe that given full-time football this exciting winger has the potential to keep improving over time.”
On signing for Rovers, Solomon, said: “Tranmere’s a big club so I’m happy to be here. I’ve been to the ground a few times and watched a few games, seen the fans, and it was a no-brainer for me.
“It’s a special moment for me and my family. It’s a lot of hard work, not just from me, but from my mum and dad behind the scenes.”
