RAIN decimated the Liverpool Competition fixture list with only two games producing results over the three divisions. 

New Brighton, who remain bottom of the Premier League, were 141-8, with Oliver Griffiths 42 not out, at Northern when the game came to a halt.

Birkenhead Park are one place above New Brighton in the relegation zone but will have been thankful the rain came after they were bowled out for 78 by leaders Ormskirk who were 27-2 when the game was abandoned. 

Wallasey were 13-1 in reply to Formby's 172-6 declared with Matthew Keogh (3-47) and Sumit Ruikar (3-83) taking the wickets before play was abandoned. 

In Division Two, Parkfield Liscard made 142 all out at Prestatyn with Nadeera Rupasinghe scoring 48 and the Welsh side 68-4 when the players came off. 

Caldy sit third and were 26-0 replying to Sutton's 190-6. Umega Chaturanga took 4-56.
