OLD Parkonians Cricket Club recently hosted a women’s softball cricket festival with over 50 female cricketers taking part.
The festival included teams from Old Parkonians, Neston, Irby, and Birkenhead Park with Neston victorious on the day.
Richie Beckett, President of the Old Parkonians Association, said: “For the second year running, The Old Parkonians, ran a most successful and enjoyable event at their ground in Holm Lane, Oxton.
"We owe a big thanks to all participants, umpires and volunteers who helped make the event such a success. Also, a big thank you to Alan Morris & Son for sponsoring the event.
