TRANMERE Rovers have unveiled their new home kit for the 2024/25 season, celebrating the club's 140-year anniversary.

According to the club: "This milestone kit is a tribute to the rich history and tradition of Tranmere Rovers, designed with meticulous attention to detail and crafted from premium materials.

"The new kit features a striking white jacquard fabric, intricately embroidered with 'TRFC 140' to mark this special anniversary. Complementing the classic white, the kit is adorned with a navy collar and sleeve trim, accented with claret detailing that pays homage to the club’s storied past.

"Accompanying the iconic shirt are white shorts and socks, symbolising the 'Super White Army' that legendary manager Dave Russell brought to life in 1962.

"For the fourth consecutive year, the kit is manufactured by Mills, ensuring top-notch quality and comfort for both players and fans. The traditional club crest proudly sits on the chest, accompanied by a celebratory message underneath, emphasizing the significance of this landmark year. Additionally, the year '1884' is prominently printed on the back of the shirt, serving as a constant reminder of the club's foundation and enduring legacy.

"We are delighted our sponsor Essar, a global leader in the energy sector, is continuing its front of shirt sponsorship for the sixth year running and especially prominent in supporting our 140th anniversary season, Essar themselves celebrating 100 years this year, two partners supporting local communities for over 100 years.

"Inside the collar, the club's motto, 'Where there is faith, there is light and strength', is inscribed, encapsulating the spirit and resilience of Tranmere Rovers. This motto has guided the club through triumphs and challenges alike, and its inclusion in the kit serves as a source of inspiration for all who wear it."

The kit will be available for purchase both online and in-store starting Monday, July 1.
