OXTON skipper Henry Dobson hit 66 in his side's Cheshire County Premier League game at Nantwich but the target of 156 proved too little to defend as the hosts completed a six wicket win.
Luke Jones' 4-36 was the highlight with the ball for Neston as Grappenhall posted 275 all out. Chrissy Lacey (72) and David Hurst (50) hit half centuries but Neston fell short by 71 runs.
In Division Two, Maritime's Sawan Prabash Suwani Kankanange (80) and Bilal Anwar (75) top scored as the hosts amassed 293-8 against North East Cheshire who replied with 183 all out. Thisal Jayawardana took 3-25.
Port Sunlight made 154 all out before Tom Palin (5-14) and Jamie Hodgson (3-32) sealed a 33 run against Mobberley.
Upton are top of Division Three after Chris McArthur (57) helped them reach 211-9 against Over Peover. Umer Zeb took 3-22 as Upton won by 120 runs.
Cheshire Cup action on Sunday saw wins for Neston and Oxton.
