NESTON hosted Chester Broughton Hall in the Premier League of the Cheshire County Cricket League with spectators treated to a run-fest at Station Road.
Chester closed on 273-7 and although Yosuf Ravat hit 69 for Neston, the hosts were bowled out 14 runs short.
Jonny Crick (54) top scored for Oxton as they were dismissed for 230 at Widnes with Crick then taking 3-23 and Jordan Collier 3-24 as the home side were bowled out for 140.
In Division Two, Matthew Hodgson took 3-9 off seven overs as Port Sunlight dismissed Haslington for 140 before the visitors completed a five wicket win.
Maritime made 145 all out against Cheadle Hulme who went on to seal a five wicket win.
Chris McArthur hit 126 for Upton in their Division Three clash with Kingsley as the hosts made 262-9. Joe Williams then took 4-35 as Upton enjoyed a massive 157 run victory.
