TRANMERE Rovers have confirmed that forward Harvey Saunders has signed a new two-year contract.
The 26-year-old has made 38 appearances for Rovers this season, and has proved a handful for defences with his pace and hard-working game.
His new contract ensures Saunders will remain with Rovers until at the least the summer of 2026.
On signing his new deal, Saunders, said: “I’m delighted to be staying for two more years. I’ve loved my time here so far and I’m looking forward to next year to push on and hit the ground running.
“Thank you to all the SWA for your support and I look forward to seeing you back at Prenton Park.”
Rovers manager, Nigel Adkins, said: “I am pleased we have signed the dynamic Harvey Saunders to a new contract, a player who has effervescent energy that helps ignite the passion.
“His enthusiasm every day is infectious. Harvey Saunders is a proper Tranmere Rovers player who runs after lost causes, cares about his teammates and who possesses lightning pace that is needed in the modern game.
“Harvey will continue to improve with his desire to take on information and strive to improve and I’m really looking forward to seeing if we can realise his true potential.”
