TRANMERE Rovers have completed the signing of Senegalese international Ousmane Kane on a six-month contract with 12-month option.
The midfielder, who transfers to Rovers from AS Douanes in Senegal, has already arrived in Wirral and begun training with his new team-mates.
Rovers have successfully obtained a Governing Body Endorsement from The Football Association and he has been cleared for an International Sportsperson visa by the Home Office which enables him to live and work in the UK.
The 22-year-old, who has won eight caps for his country, previously spent time at Tranmere on trial in September and October 2023.
Manager Nigel Adkins said: “Ousmane is a player who has been identified as having a considerable amount of potential.
“It’s clearly a significant move for him to come from Dakar to Wirral so we are not going to put pressure on him to perform immediately, but we believe that with the right coaching and development this is an opportunity for him to progress his career.
“The six-month contract allows the Club and Ousmane to see how the rest of the season goes and how he settles and acclimatises to English football before reviewing our options in the summer.”
