The British DMT team of Williamson, Kirsty Way, Molly McKenna and Ruth Shevelan clinched the title, beating Portugal and Canada in Birmingham.
After Way and McKenna competed two clean, consistent passes, it all came down to the final pass by Williamson who needed to perform a clean pass with a twisting somersault to take the gold.
With everything at stake, Williamson, of Birkenhead Trampoline Club, kept a cool head and stuck her landing, clinching the team world champion title for GB.
Speaking on what it meant to achieve the World gold, Shevelan, said: "This means the world to me. We all work so so hard, and we’ve come together as the best team and I can’t think of anyone I’d rather share this with. It’s been amazing. I’ve loved every second.”
