NESTON fell to a 94 run home defeat to relegation-threatened Cheadle on the penultimate weekend of the Cheshire County Premier League season.
Luke Jones (3-46) was the pick of the bowlers as the visitors reached 220-9 before Neston were dismissed for 126 in reply with Jones completing a brilliant performance with 46 runs.
Oxton's Jordan Collier (3-48) bowled well but had to watch as Didsbury amassed a score of 266-8 at Townfield Lane. The hosts could only manage 97 in reply.
In Division Two, Port Sunlight enjoyed a 79 run win over Bollington after Jamie Hodgson (58) helped them reach 225-7. Martin Naylor (5-26) and Tom Palin (4-15) sealed the victory.
Maritime lead Division Three after beating Heaton Mersey by five wickets. Vishal Barigela took 4-7 as the hosts were bowled out for 96 before a comfortable chase.
Rich Battersby (4-29) and Liam Sundve (3-24) helped Upton dismiss Northwich for 105 with Daniel Seaton (46) securing a seven wicket win.
