ECHO Knockout Trophy winners Neston came back to earth with a bump after losing by eight wickets to Widnes in the Cheshire County Premier League.
Neston were bowled out for just 97 with Oxton faring little better at Toft who made 191-9 before skittling the Wirral outfit for 67. Henry Dobson’s 3-77 was the only highlight.
In Division Two, James Roberts (4-41) and Chris Newton (3-31) helped Port Sunlight restrict Christleton to 179-9. An unbeaten century from Ben Nuttall (103no) and 62 from Lewis Davies saw Port storm to an eight-wicket win.
Maritime lead Division Two after beating Ashley by a massive 165 runs with Vensakar Kanthiraj (75) and Ashik Anish Kumar (66) in the runs.
Daniel Seaton, pictured above, hit 101 for Upton as they beat Oakmere by 113 runs.
