IT was all change again at the top of Go2Day West Cheshire League's Division One on Saturday, after Mossley Hill Athletic assumed pole position when Elliot Murphy, Jake Skyner, Caleb Jones, Connor Anderson and Ben Jones aapplied the finishing touches in their side's 5-1 win at Heswall, who hit back via Matty Walsh.

Newly-promoted Wallasey outfit Ashville Reserves were elevated to second place in the table, thanks to Derek Taylor's brace in a 2-1 triumph at Aintree Villa but not to be outdone, last term's Division Two champions Helsby, inspired by a Lee Turkington hat trick, celebrated a 4-3 result at Litherland Remyca Res and are handily-poised in fourth place. Owen Kucharski also netted for the victors.

Previous leaders, Maghull, scored through Cole Connolly, but were denied victory at Capenhurst Villa, who earned a share of the points, thanks to an effort from Nathan Lightfoot.

The points were also divided at Marshalls, who finished 3-3 with Vauxhall Motors Res.

A Jacob Till double and a goal from Bisensio Kamilo provided Marshalls' contribution.

The Motormen's scorers were Brad Bland (2) and Dylan Doyle.

Chester Nomads recorded their first win of the season, Tom Davies, Dan Lewis and Brandon Dickinson finding the net in Saturday's 3-0 away win at Ellesmere Port Town.

In Division Two, Mallaby stayed in second place after they turned a 2-1 deficit with eleven minutes remaining into a 4-2 victory against a well drilled Aintree Villa Res.

Paul Ellison, Kian Hamm, Jack Brown and Rory Alldis netted for the hosts. Matty Sohl and Dave Pursglove scored for Villa.

Efforts from Aaron Rainbow, Ash Power, Tom Randall and Frankie Ward assured West Kirby of a winning start to their league programme, following a 4-0 result at Hooton, while goals from Andy Noonan (2) and Shaun Burgess inspired Higher Bebington Kelma to an excellent 3-0 win at Maghull Res.

Despite a goal from Jacob Baptiste, Huyton Rovers were undone by a double from Runcorn Sports' Ryan Bazley, and Marshalls Res. were also on the receiving end at South Sefton Borough.

Alune Mohamed netted for the visitors, but it was South Sefton who profited, after efforts from Mateas Pires (3) Gabriel Marinho, Tega Okeregha and Nial McEnery set up a 6-1 triumph.

New leaders in Division Three are debutants , FC Kirby who made it three wins in succession, after five goal Charlie Bennett had a field day in the 9-1 rout of Frodsham Park.

Danny Downes (2) Brendan Rawcliffe and Dominic Waite were also on target. Mike Fairhurst was the hosts' lone marksman.

Cammell Laird 1907 Res forfeited their 100% record despite scoring five times. Aaron Bunclark, Peter Charles, Kieran Hughes, Ben Crossley and Ellis Jones oblged for the Shipbuilders but Runcorn Sports Res. merited a point, thanks to replies from Jay Blythe(3) and Stephen Butler (2).

Max Percival and Dave Ellis struck for Groves in a 2-0 result at Helsby Res, while a Toby Sutton hat trick, allied to an Alfie Welsh effort, anchored Ellesmere Port Town U23's to a fine 3-0 result at Poulton Vics.

Elsewhere, Jamie Edge and Connor Davies scored for Chester Nomads Res. in the ir 2-2 nail biter with West Kirby Res., who responded through Nathan Miller and Josh Abbott.
