A Doctor Who spaceship was sighted in Liverpool yesterday ahead of the new series, which returns to the BBC soon.
Locals could see a rare sighting of a spaceship across George’s Pier Head on Wednesday October 6th, which sees Jodie Whittaker returning as The Doctor and new companion Dan Lewis, played by John Bishop.
The spaceship was projected in the sky to celebrate series 13 beginning in Liverpool, which started filming in March 2021.
In September, Russell T Davies announced he would return as a showrunner, after leaving the show in 2009.
Billie Piper hinted that she would like to return to the iconic show, revealing in a cameo video: Billie Piper said: “Would I go back? I think if the story were right.”
“I feel like I have had enough time away from it to really really want back in on it.
“I feel like my kids are at an age where they would appreciate that too, which is often my incentive to do anything.”
Details for transmission of the show will be announced by the BBC in due course.
