POLICE are appealing for help in their search for a Wirral man who has been misssing since Thursday morning.

Noel Sheehy, aged 56, was last seen by his family at around 6.30am. He was reported missing at around 7pm.

Mr Sheehy, from Bennet's Hill in Prenton, is , around 5ft 8ins, of medium build, with short, grey-coloured hair and sideburns and blue eyes. He speaks with an Irish accent.

He was last seen wearing a pink, long-sleeved shirt, navy blue trousers and brown, lace-up shoes.

He is known to frequent Birkenhead Park and the Arono Park in Oxton but also travels to Liverpool for work.

Police and Mr Sheehy's family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are keen to trace him.
