RETIRED Wirral businessman Joseph Howitt has died, aged 83, after a long illness. Before retirement to Spain in the early 80s, he ran haulage and packing interests in Birkenhead and Liverpool. Cremation is at Landican at 3pm on Thursday.
Freelance journalist and TV reporter Roger Blyth has died at home in New Brighton, aged 54, after a long illness.
