OLD Bank continue to dominate in Division One following their 5-1 defeat of 27 Club, Richard White firing a hat-trick and Keith Mearns and Mally Dolan also netting.

Vanser Club move into second place after disposing of Atlantis Gym 4-2, thanks to a brace from George Parry and strikes from Darren Kirkham and Dave Charlesworth. Ron McWilliam and Dave Robertson replied.

Still improving are Parkfield with goals from Mike Williams, 2, Mark Rimmer, 2, Brian Cousins and Carl Williams in an amazing 6-5 win over Harvest, who replied through Tony Fitzsimmons and a hat-trick from Merv Williams. Kings Arms moved into the top five with a 5-3 defeat of Pilot Boat.

Premier Division action saw The Queens move into third place after an extraordinary 8-4 victory over Windsor and Coach & Horses took the points with a 5-2 success over St Mary's. Paul Jones, 3, Steve Smith and Russell Greenop were on target.

No luck for any sides in the Cheshire FA Sunday Cup, as 10-man St Josephs went down 3-1 to Ship Inn. Despite goals from Mark McClaghlan and Mark Hayes, Poulton Royal Dale lost 2-3 against Higher Bebington RBL. The same fate befell Nelson Vics as they went down 1-3 to Temple Inn, despite Mike Williams giving Vics the lead.

Gogglebox went top of Division Two after a hard fought victory over Liscard and The Saddle edged closer to the leaders courtesy of a fine 3-2 defeat of Morton Arms. Barry Ferns, 2, and Mark Cutts on target.
