NEW Brighton, determined to recapture top spot in the Thwaites League North Division One table after last weekend's set-back at Middlesbrough, are calling once again on 'fan power' to help them achieve just that this Saturday.
Coach Lawrie Connor is asking Wirral rugby fans to get behind his team for the visit of strugglers West Park Branhope to Reeds Lane (kick-off 2.30pm).
And, to underpin their desire to achieve as big a following as possible, New Brighton are again offering free admission to every child accompanied by an adult.
Said Connor: "We've played five of our seven games away from home and still managed second spot in the league. It's very tight at the top and with only one team going up every game is crucial. Wirral fans played a big part in our only two games at Reeds Lane. They got behind us in our wins over Wigton and Hull. I am sure we will bounce back and really give our supporters something to shout about. It is all still to play for."
He added: "All children accompanied by adults can get into this match free for a great family afternoon out at the game."
