FATHER and son were fined by Wirral Magistrates after drink was sold to an under-age customer at a Bromborough store.
Ajit Singh Sandhu, aged 42, of Bromborough Village Road, admitted that being the holder of the licence at Bromborough News, he sold intoxicating liquor to a 15-year-old boy, and was fined £75.
His son, Lakveer Singh Sandhu, aged 18, of the same address, admitted as servant delivering the drink to the boy. He was fined £25.
Chris Johnson, defending, said trouble had been experienced regularly because of under-age customers and many had been refused service. This had sometimes led to damage and security shutters had had to be fitted.
The two defendants had to share £30 costs.
