YOUNG soccer stars of the Stork Under-10s team have been stepping out in style during their first highly successful season in the Eastham District Junior League, thanks to the support of Williams BMW.
The Liverpool-based BMW dealership, which this year has achieved record sales in the Wirral area, is providing full sponsorship for the team this season, including the supply of a brand new kit for the players.
Showing speed and style almost matching the performance of the legendary BMW marque, the Williams wonders have already won eight of their nine games this season against established opposition.
The feat has been made more remarkable by the fact that six of the squad are under nine-years-old!
Delighted Coach and Manager Jamie Williams said: "This is our first season in the league and I'm proud of what the lads have achieved. They're over the moon with their results and the support they're receiving from Williams BMW which has made a real difference to their confidence and morale on the field."
"We've got some real talent; seven players are involved in Schools of Excellence backed by professional clubs including Tranmere and Chester. I'm convinced we've got some stars of the future in the squad," he added.
Pictured in the squad are: Jamie Williams and players Ben Rogers, Jonathan Strange, Paul Davies, Jonathan Shaw, Jamie Breeze, Alan Bull, Richie Cook, Josh Williams, Carl Boyd, Nicky Pollitt, Connor McDaid, Lee Bull, Mark Mosey and Nathan McMullen.
