CARL 'Foggy' Fogarty, twice World Superbike champion and British sporting hero, collected the keys to a new Vauxhall Vectra SuperTouring 200 on motorsport day at the London Motor Show recently.
Vauxhall is loaning Foggy the road-going version of its Vectra SRI V6 Challenge race car for a year to offer the British motorcycle ace a taste of four-wheel driving excitement.
"I've wanted to get my hands on this motorsport prepared Vectra for a while now," said the 32-year-old from Blackburn. "I can't wait to take the Vectra out on the road, and if I'm lucky on the race track too."
The Fogarty's have two small children and two dogs who will no doubt benefit from the Vectra's more practical virtues.
