FLOW CONTROL, Britain's leading water management company, has been appointed by Welsh Water in Cardiff to undertake a major leakage detection programme.
This, combined with a water management contract with Yorkshire Water, will enable the Wallasey-based firm to generate up to 20 new jobs locally.
Mike Rice, Flow Control's Managing Director, said: "Traditionally, our customers have been councils and large institutions, but now we are increasingly working directly with the water supply companies. In fact we have been working closely with North West Water for over two years."
Flow Control was established in 1978 and has pioneered methods of water management and conservation.
