THREE Neston students raised £500 for Claire House children's hospice by running a half marathon.
John Inns, Robert Little and James Copley are pictured presenting the cheque to Wendie Darlington, of the Claire House Appeals Office at Clatterbridge.
John, who is reading Architecture at Sheffield University, Robert (Environmental Science at Leeds), and James (studying in Chester before going to university next year) found that the idea of running for charity really spurred them on.
Wendie thanked them, explaining that besides building costs, £500,000 will be needed to run the hospice each year. Due to the public's support, the hospice is now rapidly taking shape at Clatterbridge. Wendie can be contacted on 343-0883.
