A 28-YEAR-OLD woman who struck a Wirral pub licensee in the face with a bottle has been warned she may face a jail sentence.
Lisa Kane, of Northbrook Way, Birkenhead, pleaded guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to wounding Mark Deponeo at the Pelican public house in Houghton Road, Woodchurch, on January 31.
Further remanding her on bail until December 11 to await the preparation of a pre-sentence report, Judge David Mackay warned her she may receive a custodial sentence for the offence.
Kane had been charged with wounding Mr Deponeo with intent but she denied that offence and her plea to the lesser charge was accepted by the prosecution.
