From Russell England, Director 'Cutting Edge':-
RECENTLY I suggested that Britain was becoming a ruder society. But perhaps good manners are truly the British Disease - a feeble substitute for sincerity which gets in the way of frank and open communication.
I would like to hear from any readers who believe that courtesy and good manners are a thing of the past and that directness, honesty and even rudeness are the most effective way of being heard and getting what one wants.
