WIRRAL'S sole representatives in the FA National Sunday Cup, Queens Park, of the Houlihan's Birkenhead Sunday Soccer League, are through to the third round after defeating last season's finalists, Hull club Northwood, 2-0.
Young star Mike Riley scored twice to send Queens travelling fans ecstatic. But Queens face a stern test in the third round - they are away to much fancied Liverpool side Salerno.
On the league front Brow pulled off a 5-4 victory over Dock with Mark Brady netting a hat-trick, and single goal from KEL's Matty Foreshaw was enough to beat Pilot Parkview. Jamie Kelly netted a brace as Woodchurch beat Rock Ferry 5-1.
