MDC is granting permission for a two- or three-storey residential development on land bounded by Brandon Street in Birkenhead. MDC took into account a letter from nearby Wirral Magistrates' Court concerned about privacy and security regarding proximity of the court building.
PLANNING permission is being granted by MDC for an office building at Norbury House, Monks Ferry. It is part of the Monks Ferry Business Park and includes renovation of the former Cammell Laird drawing office.
PROPERTY in Market Street is to get a facelift following an application to MDC by Wirral Methodist Housing. It is proposed that an internal staircase at number 37, a Grade II Listed building, be removed as part of plans for a new shopfront.
