TWO young Wirral men involved in supplying cannabis have both been ordered to carry out 100 hours' community service.
Mark Smith and Andrew McLavey, both aged 20, of Orrets Meadow Road, Woodchurch, were also placed on probation for two years.
Mr Richard Pratt, prosecuting, told Liverpool Crown Court last week that when police went to Smith's home, then in The Heatherlands, Woodchurch, they found 13 wraps of cannabis and Smith had £58 in cash on him.
Both men admitted possessing the drug with intent to supply: McLavey confessed to supplying it during the previous two months and Smith said he had supplied it just that night.
While on bail, Smith was again found with cannabis resin, but he claimed it was for his own use.
Mr Pratt added that McLavey was involved in a burglary at the Castrol social club in Ellesmere Port, with two other men, when £920 was stolen. He admitted the offence.
