From Disillusioned:- AS the target of a vendetta campaign my daughter and I are totally disillusioned with, what appears to be a very uncaring society.

Eighteen months ago, our harassment began when certain persons started to make our lives hell, making it almost impossible to walk out alone.

On August 26 at approximately 11.40am, we were ambushed at New Ferry traffic lights by two women whom we regard as nothing more than vicious bullies. Onlookers stood and watched as we both tried desperately to defend ourselves. I was punched to the ground with my attacker attempting to disfigure my face with her car keys. As a result of this ferocious attack I now have a permanent scar on my face and my health has deteriorated. To add insult to injury we have been informed that our assailants will not be prosecuted since no witnesses had the decency to come forward.

It is quite obvious that we live in a very uncaring community and this kind of response will surely encourage violence making it increasingly difficult for law and order to flourish.
