ONLY Old Bank, of the Wallasey & District Sunday Soccer League, progressed into the quarter-finals of the Wirral FA Amateur Cup with a hard fought 3-2 win over Observatory, thanks to goals by Stuart Kenworthy, Duncan Van Marle and Stuart Andrews.
Meanwhile, Gogglebox regained winning form in Division Two with a 9-2 trouncing of Stanley's Cask . Stuart Tuffin hit four and Jimmy Shaw a hat-trick, to keep Gogglebox two points clear of The Saddle, who beat Hamilton's 2-1 with goals from Steve McGuinness and Barry Ferns.
Old Market won their third game on the trot 3-1 against Hotel Victoria, John Sheridan, 2, and Jay Smith on target. The Plough (Nick Pickering, 2, Chris Ingram) overcame Rose & Crown 3-1 and a Mark Voas hat-trick helped Liscard beat Royal Oak 5-0.
27 Club gained their best result of the campaign - a 7-1 success against Brackenwood - with Gary Warnock and Ray Daniels firing hat-tricks, Dave Hughes scoring the other goal.
Parkfield thrashed Volclay 9-0, with Mike Williams, Brian Cousins and Paul Malone all netting twice. Jimmy Deakin, Grant Hughes and Terry Howells added the others.
In the Premier Division, leaders Millhouse went down to a second successive defeat as Gorsedale edged home 3-2, with Stuart Marl, 2, and Matt Keeley on target - a result which allowed Poulton Royal Dale to go level at the top after a 2-2 draw with Nelson Vics.
Goals by Robby Buckenham, 2, Steve Devoy and Robin Lee gave Telegraph an easy 4-0 success over Coach & Horses.
