FAMILIES of three young people killed following a Bromborough car crash will hear tomorrow how the triple tragedy happened.
Wirral Coroner Christopher Johnson will hold an inquest into the deaths of Gary Phillips, aged 30, his brother Paul Phillips, aged 29, and Kerry Ann Hughes-Jones, aged 20, who died later in hospital.
The crash, early on a May Sunday morning shocked the community, which awoke to find the wrecked Vauxhall Cavalier near the Allport Lane shopping centre. Two other people in the car survived the accident.
Since the tragedy, Mr and Mrs Daffydd and Audrey Hughes-Jones, of Eastham, have been raising money for the intensive care unit at Arrowe Park Hospital.
Their Heart of Gold Appeal has helped Mr and Mrs Hughes-Jones to cope but tomorrow afternoon will be an ordeal for all the families involved.
