HOYLAKE Gala Day is Saturday, December 13, staged by Hoylake Chamber of Trade.
There will be a contest to count the number of lights on Hoylake town Christmas Tree, plus a prize for children who have had their photograph taken with the parrot in the smuggler's cave at Maccombs pet shop. The best photo wins tickets to the panto at the Floral Pavilion.
Mayor of Wirral Barney Gilfoyle will judge the best dressed shop window and there will be buskers, bands, Cinderella, face painting plus Father Christmas.
