A MOURNING Heswall grandmother believes her granddaughter died of 'mad cow disease' after eating beef.
Mrs Beryl Rimmer said her final 'farewell' to Vicky Rimmer, aged 20, at her funeral in Shotton. Vicky's grandmother moved to Heswall from Connah's Quay two years ago.
She visited Vicky nearly every day at hospitals in Wales during Vicky's long illness lasting four years.
Now there is more agony for the family as they await a post mortem carried out at the CJD surveillance unit, Edinburgh.
