From H. Myers: I WOULD like to point out to 'Disabled Car Parker' (Mailbox, November 12) that people who became disabled after retirement age can claim an Orange Badge, BUT can not claim a tax concession for their car.

Young disabled people do get this free road tax disc plus the extra privileges this gives ie free parking and in some parts of the country, free tolls. This of course is blatant discrimination against older people, who are unfortunatley disabled.

Some people do have a justifiable complaint against a discriminatory system. Wirral Association for Disabled, Wirral Borough Council and local MPs, please take note.
