GLOBE SPORT has two pairs of tickets to be won for each of Tranmere Rovers' two next Nationwide League Division One home matches - against Oxford United on Saturday, December 20 and against Bury on Boxing Day (December 26).
We have teamed up with Nationwide Building Society, sponsors of the Football League, to offer ONE PAIR of Main Stand tickets to each of the four winners of our free-to-enter competitions.
For the Oxford United clash, all you have to do is correctly answer this question:
Who did Oxford United beat at Wembley to win the 1986 Milk Cup?
And for the Bury contest, all you have to do is correctly answer this question:
Which former Bury striker scored at Prenton Park on Saturday?
Write your answers on a postcard/back of an envelope - separate postcard if you are entering both contests and do please remember to put your name and address and, if possible, a daytime telephone number - and send to: The Sports Editor, Wirral Globe, Globe House, Catherine Street, Birkenhead, Wirral L41 6HW. Closing date: Wednesday, December 17 (both competitions).
Winners of our recent Tranmere-Ipswich Town contest - M. J. Weaver, of New Ferry, and Mr John Jones, of Bebington - each received a pair of Main Stand tickets for last Saturday's game.
