SHOPPERS at a Bromborough store had a chance last Saturday to contribute to food parcels for local needy people.
Members of The Rotary Club of Bebington were at the ASDA store, Croft Estate, Bromborough, to invite members of the public to purchase on additional item - and contribute it to the Rotary Club.
A Rotary Club spokesman explained: "We then prepare parcels of food and Christmas cheer for distribution to the elderly, infirm and lonely in the Bebington and Eastham areas.
"ASDA have kindly granted this facility to the Rotary Club for many years and the Club is most appreciative of their generosity.
"They are also most appreciative of the public for the way they have responded each year to the appeal."
