CADETS and staff from 1123 (Bebington) Squadron have worked hard to honour the memory of a former cadet who was killed during World War II.
Flt Sgt George Roberts died on March 27, 1944, aged just 21. His family now live far and wide, so his brother Eric, also a former cadet, asked the ATC to look after his grave.
Over the past two years committee members have cleared the site, planted flowers and kept the headstone in good order. And on Remembrance Sunday, cadets and staff laid a wreath on Flt Sgt Roberts's grave.
