A BIRKENHEAD mother has asked parents to question their children coming home with unexplained property.
Susan Scott's son Sean, aged 17, had his £600 Carrera Maxima bike stolen from their garage in Holmlands Drive, Prenton, between 7.30am and 8.30am on Sunday.
One of a kind, it has been uniquely customised with Marazochi Zokes suspension forks, 'downhill' handlebars, and grey tyres. The predominant colour is blue with grey trim.
"It must have been taken by someone local," said Mrs Scott. "So someone's parents must be wondering where this new bike has come from. Question your children; don't ignore it, and if you have any information, contact Upton police."
