THREE teams from the Birkenhead & Wirral Soccer League made it through to the semi-final of the Wirral Junior Cup on Saturday - and it could result in a domestic final!
Brave hearts Abbotsford came back from 0-3 down to lead 4-3, eventually losing 5-4 against Nue Ave (Glen Norman, 4, Steve Cotgrave).
FC Beehive reached the quarter-final with a terrific 5-1 win over Old Bank. Cup favourites Seven Stiles thrashed FC Willows 8-1. Chris McGinn, 4, Ian Dobbs, 2, and Steve Thompson, 2, were on target.
