CHESHIRE are into the knock-out stages of the County Championship.
They topped North and Midlands League Two with a 28-12 victory over North Midlands at Worcester. New Brighton players Hefin O'Hare, Kevin Brookman and Ian Kennedy were among the try scorers and Alex Guest managed a conversion and two penalties.
The next stage is at the end of February, but team selection for the county could become a problem with New Brighton likely to be in Intermediate Cup action on the same day.
