ALEC McFadden thought he would be too busy to run in the local elections this year but his disgust over the 'appalling attitude' of the Labour council spurred him on.
Alec, Socialist Labour candidate for Bidston, has already provoked a reaction in Wirral, most notably during the demonstration at benefit cuts he led at Frank Field's surgery which saw disabled people blocking Hamilton Square by chaining themselves to buses.
Said Alec: "I was appalled by Labour's attitude to people on benefits and disabled people. It seems that the poor are getting poorer. People cannot believe how bad Labour is. They're like the Tory party."
Socialist Labour have three candidates: Nicholas Kearns, Mick Cullen and Alec McFadden.
