RECTOR of St Matthew's Church Rev William Hogg, plus the headteacher of Bromborough Pool School Elaine Knowles, join villagers who want their village hall back. Bromborough Pool Village Hall has been closed for nearly four years and been boarded up by a housing association.
"Does the housing association really accept responsibility for community buildings in Bromborough? Does it want to see them improved and developed or is there a hidden agenda to allow them to run down?" ask the residents of one of the oldest industrial villages in the country. "Through the Globe we ask the question," says Rev Hogg and Mrs Knowles in a letter also signed by villagers and Councillor Mrs Ruth Mullins.
