GOING on a ferry trip along the Manchester Ship Canal later this month are members of Ness and Little Neston WI. The outing is on Saturday, June 27.
Speaker at this month's meeting was Mrs Gina Fairhurst, of the Ideal Home Road Show, who demonstrated many gadgets before members were given a chance to try out appliances.
Next meeting of the WI is on Tuesday, July 7 (7.30pm), when Mrs Crawford will talk about teaching in the Middle East.
Meetings are held in the Schoolroom, Little Neston Methodist Church, Mellock Lane. New members and visitors are always welcome. Further details can be obtained by telephoning 336-5821.
