A LOCAL football club manager celebrated Everton's Premiership survival and then got arrested for drink driving.
Peter Brammer, 26, of Forwood Road, Bromborough, pleaded guilty when he faced Wirral magistrates and also admitted not having insurance cover.
John Ballam, defending, said he would lose his job as a delivery driver. He added that Brammer was a keen Everton supporter and drank after they avoided relegation. He said Brammer also managed a local side and had the kit worth several hundred pounds in his car. He feared it might be stolen and decided to drive home.
Brammer was fined £400 and banned from driving for 30 months.
