A 22-year-old woman said to have made 'silence' 'phone calls to the mother of her former boyfriend appeared before Wirral magistrates.
Donna Marie Bennett, of Barnard Road, Oxton, admitted persistently making use of the telephone system at Wood Close, Birkenhead, to cause annoyance, inconvenience and needless anxiety.
Martin Green, defending, said she was of previous good character. There was a history to the matter: there had been an acrimonious relationship and Bennett had received threats, he said.
The magistrates granted a 12-month conditional discharge on payment of £40 costs.
